Looking for a little inspiration for that wildly romantic wedding you’re planning? Pop over to see this simple, romantic design featuring gorgeous florals and pink velvet. Tersilla’s stunning romantic statement centerpiece with it’s wide range of juicy colors and cascading greenery was an absolutely dreamy addition and really added that swoon factor. Our Bride rocked her own black booties, and it is one of my favorite images with such wonderful juxtaposition between a little wild and a little romantic.
Taylor and Derek are something straight out of Vogue magazine with their exciting and care-free personalities. Taylor + Derek not only opted for first look, but for a private vow reading pre-ceremony. We love this idea for those looking for an intimate moment on their wedding day. The way Taylor’s hair and dress flowed with her movement, and their stunning smiles - you can’t help be feel 100% joy radiating from their images. And they are so damn beautiful you almost think there is no way this is a real wedding, it has to be styled! But NOPE. Real life couple goals right here, y’all! Prepare to swoon + be inspired!

If you haven’t had the chance to tour The Gin at Hidalgo Falls, you are missing out on a historical gem! This family owned, recently restored wedding venue just outside of Houston and Austin, Texas is such a unique wedding venue option for those looking for somewhere marvelous to host their wedding day. With a neutral color palette of grey and white, along with a brick cove for a pop of warmth, this industrial meets rustic wedding venue is the perfect backdrop for any theme or color palette. As wedding planners and designers, we opted to create a design that was cohesive with the venue color and feel for a minimal meets industrial vibe.
THE COLOR PALETTE - GREY, WHITE, BLUSH, MIXED METALS
When choosing the color palette we opted to go with a monochromatic theme of grays and whites, utilizing the in-house metal chairs, and bringing in mixed metals for the tabletop candleholders. To add just a soft touch of color, Urban Rubbish incorporated subtle pink roses and buttery yellow-orange florals in glass compotes.
Neutral plates and sleek glassware created a modern and romantic setting without distracting from the overall design. Zinc tealights and brass votive holders lined the table to add ambiance and industrial touches. White napkins were simply folded on each place setting with a simple sprig of greenery to adorn each setting. The Bride and Groom place settings were marked by giving them a little extra floral pizazz. You may have seen in a previous design our favorite “pocket square” idea alongside Urban Rubbish in lieu of a traditional bout. We decided to carry over the pocket square design into the groom’s place setting with the napkin, and luscious rose for the Bride. As a final touch, hand-torn, luxe cotton paper with calligraphy names marked each seat, delicately crafted by Davis Art Co.
