Dusty blue color palette inspiration for an Aggie wedding at the College Station Hilton Ballroom.
One of my favorite parts of moving back to Aggieland is the opportunity to not only work with a great network of fellow Aggie wedding vendors, but to be part of some EPOCH Aggie Sweetheart celebrations! Amelia and Drew's wedding was one of the best I have attended! Amelia was working off-shore every few weeks, and knew she would be off-shore two weeks leading up to her wedding. Her, Drew and her family decided hiring a wedding coordinator was the best option for streamlining the last few weeks and to keep everyone's mind at ease. Drew was a rockstar fiance by maintaining contact with us the last 6 weeks and keeping Amelia in the loop off-shore, as needed. We assisted with booking some last minute vendors, making sure their timeline of events + transportation flowed well between their getting ready locations, Catholic ceremony and Hilton ballroom reception, as well as overseeing the day of events. Theo Graphics beautifully captured their joyous celebration surrounded by the largest and happiest group of Aggies we have witnessed to date! We are thrilled to share this wedding with you and hope it inspires your own Texas A&M wedding, wherever it may be.

Words cannot express how excited I am to share a simple sneak of this vow renewal we did in July at the Rocky Mountain National Park, alongside destination photographer, Heidi Elyse Photography. This Arizona native roped us in to her client’s vow renewal between themselves and their newest bundle of joy, and we eagerly jumped at the chance to escape this Texas heat and fly off into the Colorado mountains. And by Texas Heat, ya’ll it was 112 degrees here in College Station the weekend we left. My husband made sure to let me know he was melting while we were galavanting around in the crisp, cool Colorado weather.
So! Enjoy this teaser until we get more to share.

Do you remember our blog post introducing the new wedding venue, The Gin at Hidalgo Falls? We eluded to a styled shoot we designed there to give future brides and grooms a glimpse at the beautiful vintage industrial venue that was coming to the outskirts of College Station Fall 2018! Our wedding planning team is super excited to finally share more images with you to showcase this stunning design alongside some of our favorite friends (vendors that are friends) now that the inspiration photoshoot has gone live with WHITE Magazine!
The Gin at Hidalgo Falls
Rich with History, The Gin at Hidalgo Falls is a restored 1950’s cotton gin just an hour outside of Houston, Texas. It’s set to open as a wedding venue Fall of 2018, and our planning team, Epoch Co+, (along with a wonderful team of friendors) has put together an exclusive look at the venue and it’s best photo spots. Fully renovated while keeping its charm, it’s the perfect inspiration for brides dreaming of that vintage and industrial look. Below are more details on how it all came together through the artistic eye of Ten23 Photography’s stunning photography.
Industrial Ceremony inspiration
The venue is rich with history and perfectly incorporates vintage-industrial design with modern details and amenities. With the venue still under construction, we did what we thought was best to capture the various brides in our surrounding cities (multicultural and body positive) to create a comprehensive look to potential clients – and one that gives respect and a welcoming message to all couple’s alike. All the while, maintaining the table decor to be reflective of the owner’s branding board.
At the edge of the fields are also two fantastic silos that are aged to perfection and can create the perfect location near sunset for a late ceremony or sweetheart images of the newlyweds when the sun provides a dreamy glow!
The back side of the wedding venue is also surrounded by active cotton fields. These fields provide the perfect backdrop for ceremonies! Planting of the cotton seeds usually takes place by April, but can happen as late as May. Seedlings can emerge within a week, and the cotton morphology begins until harvest. Harvest in the area can occur between late August and Early September, and is dependent on the weather patterns.
The Gin - Porch
If the fields aren’t calling your name, and you adore The Gin structure itself – we think there are two fabulous locations to have an outdoor ceremony facing the wedding venue. The left end will have a gorgeous porch that is right off one of the getting ready suites that can house an outdoor ceremony option, (think rows of chairs for immediate family and standing ceremony with cocktail tables for larger events) or on the backside of the venue is an expansive wrap-around porch with the perfect little cove – which is where we chose to feature during this styled shoot.

Looking for some inspiration to jazz up your next dinner party? We have the perfect inspiration. We loved the white dinner table and mismatched chairs already in place. We decided to keep with the white and clean color palette and infused it with some earthy and inviting colors such as teal blue, green and mustard.
The dark gray runners paired perfectly with the amber tea goblets, teal plates and gold flatware. The white clay pots of succulents and cacti popped against the stark contrast. We sourced dinner plates from Target, and the gold flatware? It is plastic! Also, from Target. Everyone was impressed with the flatware, and shocked when they realized it was disposable.
Guests were able to snack on a homemade charcuterie board and sip on rose while mingling before dinner. Simple candlelight at either end of the table added a touch of ambiance, and the centerpiece by Urban Rubbish completed the table decor.
