WILDLY ROMANTIC PINK VELVET INSPIRATION AT ICE HOUSE ON MAIN, BRYAN, TEXAS
Are you looking for a wedding venue with a little bit of history and an industrial meets agrarian vibe?? Ice House on Main in historical downtown Bryan, Texas is PERFECT for this style. This venue is AMAZING, and has so much to offer in terms of space and flexibility. It is such a versatile space that can fit most any style and designs with the right wedding designer. We have a wedding there in February for roughly 350 wedding guests and I absolutely cannot wait! There is the main space people rent for weddings and corporate events. It is a large room with beautiful reclaimed wood floors, gorgeous beams, and exposed brick walls. Our client will host their cocktail hour and family style dinner + toasts here. There are then 3 large sets of doors that can open up to the concert stage area. Our client is using this space for their after-dinner reception when the band goes live. We plan to have some cocktail tables, lounges and late night treats. There is also Ronin Restaurant attached to the Ice House. If you need a rehearsal dinner location or “in-house” catering - Ronin is literally right there! Their farm-to-table menu options, supporting their local farm along with other local farmers, is truly a special treat for you and your guests. We never pass up the chance to support local, small business and both of these vendor options are top notch choices! So without further delay, on to our schedule programming featuring the gorgeous pink velvet linen and wildly romantic florals courtesy of Studio Tersilla.
The stellar wedding vendor team for the following inspiration:
The Tabletop Design + Centerpiece
We wanted to create a simple, romantic design. The pink velvet linen is actually a vintage curtain from an old victorian home we scored on one of our treasure hunts. At the time, no one around us had velvet linens, so we sourced our own! Now Party Time Rentals has the most beautiful, lush velvet linens in the whole area! We added other vintage touches to the tabletop design, such as the vintage pink and purple goblets, and depression glass salad plate in a soft pink. Tersilla’s stunning romantic statement centerpiece with it’s wide range of juicy colors and cascading greenery was an absolutely dreamy addition and really added that swoon factor.
The Bride + Bridal Bouquet Inspiration
We started with a classic up-do for our bridal hairstyle. A matching wildly romantic + whimsical cascading bouquet was jaw-dropping gorgeous against her modest two-piece wedding dress with the creamy crochet top and soft pink tulle skirt. For our second look, we let the bride’s envious red hair down for a half-up-half-down bridal hairstyle. Bridal Shoes are one of our favorite details for a bride to show her personal style. Our Bride rocked her own black booties, and it is one of my favorite images with such wonderful juxtaposition between a little wild and a little romantic.
