Did you see the grand opening of Inn at Quarry Ridge's newest event venue - Stonehem Hall? We helped plan a vibrant "Spring Soiree" theme for attendees to enjoy, and we absolutely love how it all came together! Below is a recap of the event full of Spring Wedding Inspiration! (We are also thrilled to be the Day of Coordinators included in their exclusive Marble Package!)

Designing the Open House

It's no secret that we love bold colors! We presented Larry and Sue with 3 different design boards and themes - they chose our Spring Soiree themed board that included colors of punch pink, coral, blush, white and boysenberry purple. We contacted the vendors, presented the mood board and explained how we were going for a vibrant spring theme. We also explained how we would love to incorporate fruity flavors and the spring-garden style florals to carry over the theme. We fully believe in allowing vendors to do what they do best in their areas of expertise by providing guidelines and then allowing them to have creative control.

Florals, Tables & Decor

Head Table + Sweetheart Table - Inside Stonehem Hall is a gorgeous double-sided stone fireplace which we felt was the perfect place for the sweetheart and head table. To create an upscale, statement area for the sweetheart table and head table – we flanked the sweetheart table by the rich wood farm tables hand-crafted by Vestige Event Rentals, which can seat up to 12 guests each!

We love mixing metals, so to set the tables, we used Ashley & Co’s gold chiavarri chairs, silver-beaded chargers and khaki napkins and runners. To soften the look, a blush lacoste linen, sashed with the same khaki accent color was used for the sweetheart table. Willow Lane did a fantastic job with the color palette including vibrant florals of blush, punch pink, peach, boysenberry and hot pink. For the Farm tables she chose to do a large organic, garden-style focal piece, flanked with smaller arrangements and votives. The Sweetheart table had a similar bold floral arrangement to contrast the softer linen color.

Guest Tables - When we went to visit Ashley & Co's storefront, we immediately fell in love with their "burgundy velvet" linens. Everyone loves the color blush - that is obvious from the numerous weddings around town, open houses and other events. We wanted to show brides a great color option to pair with the popular color and felt the "burgundy velvet" linens were the perfect shade to carry over our boysenberry color, and contrasted perfectly with the popular blush colors trending across the board with brides.

Cocktail + Cafe Tables - Since we were planning an open house, we wanted to offer plenty of options for guests to set drinks and food, while allowing them to mix and mingle during the event. The cafe tables had 4 different bold colored linens provided by Details. We incorporated the ever-popular blush wedding color through the 8 cocktail tables ranging in velvet by Party Time Rentals, blush petal tafetta by Details, and blush lacoste from Ashley & Co. To allow for a cohesive design between the contrasting fabrics and colors, we paired them with June Votives by Vestige Event Rentals and lush florals by Post Oak Florist.

Dessert

We had two bakers participate in the Open House. We love how each took their own spin on the design board to encompass the "Spring Soiree" theme.

Sandee’s Sweets provided petite macarons, mini cupcakes and sugar cookies - all with the same rose shaped icing.

Fabulous Fare provided mini strawberry shortcakes in mason jars, mini cheesecakes that had the perfect touch of lemon topped with fresh fruit and raspberry jam filled cupcakes!
