Evann + Blake’s intimate riverfront wedding, located on family property in New Braunfels, Texas, was the perfect backyard bash with all the above! Filled with family, flowers, and breathtaking Hill Country landscapes, this Texas wedding is straight out of a magazine. We are still reminiscing about their big day! Evann + Blake’s tented backyard wedding nuptials were the picture-perfect definition of a private estate wedding. This December wedding also had gorgeous touches from beginning to end that made this small wedding romantic and timeless. Evann and Blake’s wedding day was a true representation of their love for each other! This riverfront wedding lives on in our hearts as one of the best weddings/dinner parties ever.
Details
Wedding details and accessories are such a special touch when it comes to planning your big day! As you design your save the dates and wedding invitations, etc. be mindful and intentional with the styling you use. Not only do tiny little details like font and paper weight play a big role in your wedding aesthetic, but they also portray your style as a couple! Evann and Blake specifically chose an elegant font and color pallet for their invites that was just as timeless as their love! On this special day Evann got to pop off and shine with all her bridal glory, but Blake also proved that wedding fashion doesn’t just stop with the bride.
Getting Ready
Getting ready photos are some of the sweetest photos that can be captured on your big day. Sometimes overlooked, these photos capture the special moments leading up to walking down the aisle. Whether it be a touching mom and daughter moment or a groom kicked back with his groomsmen, the photos captured by Opal and Onyx Photography display all the anticipation, joy, and excitement leading up to this couple's big moment!
First Look
Evann was radiant in her classic form fitting wedding gown and her future husband couldn’t hold back the tears! The beautiful water front was the perfect backdrop to frame this couples sweet and tearful embrace, proving to all of us that true love really does exist!
Ceremony
Have you ever seen a more perfect backyard ceremony? The large oak trees, historic stone architecture and glorious lighting at Evann and Blake’s ceremony was just as photogenic as the couple! Evann owns her own wedding floral business called Root and Wilde Floristry where she got her start in the industry as a college intern with Urban Rubbish Floristry located in College Station, Texas. Evann worked along side Urban Rubbish Floristry to design the wedding florals of her dreams and was surprised with the final design on her big day!
Reception
Evann + Blake’s wedding reception took place on the back patio of the family estate under a tent adorned with dimmed bubble lights and lush greenery hanging from above. Filled with beautiful flowers created by Urban Rubbish Floristry, the tent was transformed into a glorious backyard escape straight out of Pinterest! And did we forget to mention that Evann and Blake were a house divided? An Aggie and a Longhorn tying the knot means love really must be blind! #Gig’emAggies
With A romantic last dance under the stars in the cool December air, Evann and Blake set out on their wedded adventure under a tunnel of sparklers surrounded by those they loved.
