Paws Up Resort | Missoula, Montana

Nancy and Damon put emphasis on wanting a wedding weekend experience with their guests where they could all enjoy great food, drinks and each others company for a few days. After looking coast to coast, we settled on Paws Up in Missoula, Montana.

Guests were welcomed on Thursday for a cookout overlooking the vast landscape. With the event taking place Halloween weekend on a ranch, the wedding rehearsal dinner was a personalized script for a Western Murder Mystery Dinner Party where wedding party members and family played key roles in the excitement, before everyone cast their ballot on who the official suspect was. Saturday was the big day!! Nancy and Damon got ready in different cabins on-site, before joining for a first look and inviting their wedding party and family to join them at Nancy’s cabin for champagne toasts. The biggest surprise was the guest bagpipe player Nancy and Epoch secretly secured as a gift to Damon, who began playing and leading the grouped processional from the cabin to the ceremony hill just a few short steps away. Nieces carried flags from the various countries the families represented, and Damon’s dear friend officiated the ceremony.

Once the ceremony was done, guests were encouraged to linger, enjoy a mix of warm cocktails and enjoy the sunset before heading to the main reception barn for dinner, dancing and more delicious cocktails! Sunday was the final day as guests enjoyed a brunch together before whisking off to the airport and concluding the weekend festivities.
