Their wedding was a delightful mix of quirky elegance and vibrant fun, perfectly captured at Mattie's, a downtown restaurant that was the ideal setting for their culinary dreams.
From the moment guests arrived, they were whisked away into a Wes Anderson-inspired wonderland. Picture this: tall trees, dappled sunlight, and an outdoor ceremony that felt like a scene straight out of one of Anderson's films. The couple's love for pastel colors and quirky details turned the natural surroundings into their very own whimsical dreamscape. As guests meandered down the rug-lined aisle, it was as though they were stepping into a carefully crafted movie set.

Finding out Grace and Andrew loved Wes Anderson films was like hitting the designer jackpot. We encouraged them to lean into this fun, colorful, and uniquely them vibe with a touch of both of their nerdy sides, and ditch the white a green wedding they felt they had to have. The stationery and signage having a ton of personal details helped to tie all of the bright colors together, and give that extra personal touch.

“Hiring Heather as our planner was the best (and first) decision we made! When we hired Heather, I was not looking forward to wedding planning and had a straightforward white floral and greenery wedding in mind, but after seeing all of the magical work she did for other weddings, I was inspired to pivot to something completely unique. We ended up having a Wes Anderson-inspired, whimsical, nerdy, colorful wedding that had so many amazing personal touches. It was actually more than I could have dreamed up by myself. Working with Heather, we never got the answer of “that’s too crazy” or “that won’t work.” She did however help finesse many of our ideas and recommended a perfect team of vendors to execute our vision. She is organized, detail oriented, and was so amazing from Day 1 to Day-Of. We truly could not have planned our wedding without her help and our investment in her was the best money we spent! People are still talking about how magical, fun, and special our wedding was over a month later. If that isn't a testament to the power of Heather, Ashley, and Epoch Co - I don't know what is!”
