Hand Painted Wedding Details
Everyone is looking to stand out and cut away from the cookie-cutter mold on their wedding day. While wedding days are about celebrating the love and lifetime commitment that couples vow to make, they are also a celebration of the couples' unique personalities and attributes that have made them who they are! For Robbi + Ryan’s big day at the Historic Hill House in Willis Texas, the tiniest of details made a huge impact! The hand-painted details artistically done by Half Moon Lettering illustrated a beautiful picture of the Bride and Groom's passions and the things they hold most dear. From painted drink menus featuring illustrations of the couples' shared dogs, to custom bridal sneakers with ornately painted blooms, and even painted Tequila bottles, make this wedding one for the books!
These hand painted wine and liquor bottles created by Half Moon Lettering were turned into true works of art, and we are still obsessed over them! Whether it be serving the bottles at your wedding reception or using them as bridal and groom party gifts, these bottles are an excellent way to add style and personality to your wedding or party!
One of the best ways to keep wedding guest entertained during your wedding reception or cocktail hour is by providing lawn games for them to enjoy! These custom corn hole boards with the painted Historic Hill House wedding venue is a perfect way to bring some fun customization to an outdoor activity. Even by adding the Bride and Grooms last name to the board allows for every part of the wedding to feel personal and intentional.
We all know that our fur-babys’ play a huge role in our everyday lives and even our relationships. So why not make them a part of your big day! Whether it be naming your signature cocktail “Honey Spritzs” or “Sammis Fashion” or even going all out and having a mini pet portrait on your bar menu, we can’t think of a cuter way to include your furry best friends.
These days everyone is ditching the traditional guest book sign (that lets be honest gets put on a shelf never to be open again) and opting for more stylish ways to honor their wedding guests for years to come. Robbi and Ryan had Half Moon Lettering create them a adorable piece of watercolor wall art for their guest to sign, that will serve as a special piece of décor for the rest of their lives.
Wedding Party Fashion
What is the perfect wedding attire for a Texan groom and his groomsmen you might ask? Dark washed blue jeans, cowboy hat and boots are one way to make your wedding more personalized and more “on brand” for the groom and his closest of friends! Pairing dark jeans with a coordinating sports coat really adds a touch of southern sophistication to the whole look, and will certainly leave you and your groom pleased on the big day!
Classic yet unique is a excellent way to make sure you and your girls look and feel the best on your wedding day! The best thing about allowing bridesmaids to have different cut dresses is that 1. not every body is the same 2. each bridesmaid will be extra confident in a dress that best accentuates their body and 3. it is so much more aesthetic in photos! While color can easily be matched, don’t be afraid to play around with the idea of different bridesmaid dress cuts. Your girlfriends will thank you!
Hand painted details can be seen throughout all of Robbi and Ryan’s wedding day, and it certainly did not stop with the Bride’s shoes! If comfort is your go too and sneakers are more your style, one way to amp up the fashion is to get your Vans painted! We’ve said it before, but we have no problem saying it again! Intentionality on your wedding day, no matter how small the detail, really goes a long way into making your day even more special!
An excellent wedding gift for a groom is a hand painted bottle of their favorite liquor! This Jack Daniels Tennessee Whiskey portrays the grooms love of the outdoors and will certainly be something that he cherishes for years to come!
Outdoor Wedding Ceremony
Nestled in the lush pine trees of Willis, Tx Robbi and Ryan’s ceremony cite was about as dreamy as it gets. The 130 year old Historic Hill House property is the perfect back drop for those looking to have their wedding ceremony outside, or even inside one of their beautiful rustic barns. Draping moss hanging in the large oak trees gives off major Savannah, GA vibes in this hidden Texas retreat.
Robbi and Ryan’s wedding ceremony cite is proof that florals can change any space. While the green backdrop is stunning on its own, these springy florals created by Thorn Floral Studio really made the wedding ceremony a picture perfect moment!
Wedding Reception
Located in the Historic Hill Houses 1840s rustic barn, the wedding reception was adorned with high wooden beams and vaulted ceilings covered in wild greens that brought the outdoors in. The ballroom was the perfect location for the bride and groom to dance the night away!
A photo booth is the perfect way to add another touch of personalization to your wedding reception! By hanging hand-dyed cheese cloth we were able to create the cutest back drop for the reception space.
Robby and Ryan’s wedding day proved that taking a little extra time to add hand made details and other creative elements creates a show stopping big day that is personal and unique!
Cheers!
