Runway trends are one of our favorite trends to follow! When we saw all the lovely iridescent and dichroic textures debuting, we knew we had the perfect inspiration to kick off this design. When it comes to inspiration, art is always a good choice! Anne Ten Donkelaar is an artist out of the Netherlands, and someone we have admired for a while. With the pressed floral trends, we felt her floral art was an inspiring and vibrant twist to incorporate into the wedding world.

The Bridal Dress + Shoes
With Anne Ten Donkelaar as a primary inspiration, we found the most gorgeous dress designed by a Dutch couture designer, from the line Le Papillon by Modeca. The feminine lines perfectly tied together glamour with a vintage feel that matched the wedding venue, Ice House on Main, with the bohemian look that we strive for with our clients, and adore. When it came to the shoes, we always love a fun pop of color, and the red velvet heels were just the right bit of pop! The scalloped details of the shoe, carried over into the delicate bell sleeves of the wedding dress.
Bridal Hair + Makeup
To go with both the feminine + boho look of the wedding dress, and overall wedding design, we decided to have the makeup artist do a fun pink + berry bridal look. From the flame berry red lip color, to the hot pink gradient eye shadow, this not only tied together the pinks used throughout the florals and linens, but also was a step between those and her maroon velvet shoes. Her hair was kept timeless and simple, long and straight, but clipped back on either side with the trending barrettes.
The Bridal Bouquet
The bridal bouquet is one of my absolute favorite elements of the wedding day bridal look! This is the perfect piece to accessorize your look and vibe with, and should be cohesive with the overall design. It is the perfect custom accessory to your outfit, and can help tell a lot about your style, vibe and personality. Wether they are tightly packed to the brim with florals, loose and flowing, cascading, asymmetrical, heavy on foliage and light on the blooms, textural, boho, dried…designing this key floral piece is crucial! It will be in a large portion of photos to remember the big day with, and colorful bouquets are always a favorite of ours, and this wildflower cascade bouquet is no exception!! It was so beautiful, even a butterfly had to land on it and check it out.
