Adventurous Wedding || The Springs Katy || EPOCH Co+

Elise and Hunter’s spring wedding, full of personalized details, had me rethinking what season is my favorite wedding season! As soon as I met with our couple to start their Month-Of Coordination, I knew this was going to be a day that I dearly enjoyed. While it was a rainy spring day, every detail from the vendor team to the table decor, assured that all guests would experience a bright and amazing day. By the time our newest Mr. + Mrs. and their guests arrived at The Springs in Katy TX, the rainy dreary-ness of the day had disappeared!

BRIDE + GROOM

Okay I’m so excited to finally tell y’all about the sweet Elise and Hunter!! To be completely honest, I always get slightly nervous headed into our On-Site Venue Planning Meeting. I know every single question I am going to ask, and every aspect of the day that I want to cover, but I get nervous about meeting and connecting with the bride and groom right away [ that would be my massive social anxiety popping up to say hello… ]. To me the most important thing is to make that connection with the bride and groom so that every moment after that can be as honest as possible. The more comfortable that we feel with each other, the more comfortable the bride and groom are with me being present on their special day! Thankfully Elise and Hunter are such a happy and genuine couple, it was easy to come in that last month and help during the final sprint toward their forever [ it also helps that they were Aggies…and it’s always easy to feel like you’ve known fellow Ags forever because we’re really all just one big happy family! ].

Elise and Hunter love adventure, and chose to include this love on their special day. They are big on travel and spending time in nature, so each table number was accompanied by the name of a state/national park that the newlyweds had either already visited [ these tables had a picture of the couple at the park ], or are planning on visiting. They had also gotten succulents for each guest to take as a favor and their photobooth was indeed a photo camper as a nod to their love for camping. To top it all off: their exit vehicle was hooked up to a camper so they could head off straight to their next adventure together!!

I could go on and on about just how sweet this couple and their guests were, and about how much fun everyone had during their big day, but for now I’ll end on this note :
Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Reagan. I hope and pray that y’all have the very happiest and most adventurous life together! You deserve every bit of it!!
