Indie Wedding Inspiration at Ronin Farm | Featured on Junebug Weddings | Epoch Co

We love intimate weddings and elopements. Weddings that are curated around thoughtful and meaningful ideas, surrounded by those who truly helped form you as a person and perhaps had an important part in leading you toward this current path - the path of marrying the one your heart calls home. We teamed up with Century Tree Productions and Urban Rubbish in designing and coordinating this phenomenal intimate, indie wedding inspiration at the dreamy Ronin Farm nestled in the woods. We are even more excited to finally share this phenomenal event with you featured on Junebug Weddings!

The Venue

Ronin Farms has to be hands down one of our favorite event venues. This intimate forest escape not only hosts a wide variety of events, they also host farm-to-table 9-course dinners monthly at their farm in their forest. They also recently opened a restaurant at the newly restored and renovated Ice House on Main in Historic Downtown Bryan, Texas. Clients have the option of dining amidst the trees with string lights and candles or in their barn - and if the weather is just right, you will definitely want the forest dining experience! D R E A M Y!

Ceremony

We love the natural backdrop Ronin provides. With the towering trees surrounding the venue, you really do not need a whole lot with so much natural beauty. We decided to keep the ceremony scene casual and inviting, adding a bit of decor without competing with the natural surroundings. A white A-Frame Arbor covered in greenery + orchids + burgundy peonies + pampas grass by Urban Rubbish was the perfect backdrop in the forest. Antique rugs from Vestige Event Rentals were the way to go for an indie and intimate aisle vibe. The Rue De Seine wedding gown from Unbridaled was the ultimate touch for this boho bride. Urban Rouge perfectly complimented the luscious dress by doing a subtle and casual hair style, and paired minimal makeup with bold touches.

To carry over the intimate forest vibes of the photoshoot, Peach Paper Design curated a gorgeous invitation suite on textured paper with hand-torn edges. The simple white and gray colors paired effortlessly with the pine green envelopes.

The Reception

One of our favorite things here at Epoch is to give creative direction and curate designs. Century Tree Productions had a gorgeous vision to start with and we adored handpicking the various pieces that would bring the tablescape to life! With the primary focus being the lush garland and vibrant florals mingled throughout - we played on the pops of mustard and forest green vibes by layering similar colors in the table settings. With a love for stoneware, we couldn't resist using the matte Hearth and Hand line from Target, topped with mustard gold linen napkins from World Market. Black flatware and black tapers from Vestige added the perfect indie touch! There are not many things more romantic and intimate than dinner under the stars with those you cherish most, amidst a lush tablescape on handmade farm tables.
